‘Only Messi Magic Can Save Argentina’ – Keyamo Predicts Spain Victory in World Cup Final

Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo has predicted that Spain will defeat Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, saying only a moment of brilliance from Lionel Messi could stop the European champions-elect.

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (SAN), has predicted that Spain will defeat Argentina in Sunday’s FIFA World Cup final, while acknowledging that Lionel Messi could still produce a match-winning moment.

In a post on X ahead of the highly anticipated final, Keyamo said Spain’s overall quality makes them favourites to lift the trophy. “Anyone who knows football very well should easily predict that Spain will beat Argentina today to win the World Cup,” he wrote.

The minister, however, added that Argentina’s hopes rest largely on the brilliance of their captain, whom he described as the “little boy from Rosario.”

“Unless there is an exceptional moment of magic by one ‘little boy from Rosario’ called Lionel Messi,” he added.

Keyamo’s comments come as football fans around the world eagerly anticipate the clash between an unbeaten Spain side and defending champions Argentina in what is expected to be Messi’s final World Cup appearance.

Spain have impressed throughout the tournament with their disciplined, possession-based football, while Argentina have relied heavily on Messi’s inspirational performances to reach the final.

The final has been widely billed as a battle between Spain’s collective strength and the individual brilliance of Messi, who has enjoyed another outstanding tournament and will be aiming to guide Argentina to back-to-back World Cup titles.
