In a recent Instagram Live session, Nigerian highlife star Flavour N’abania dropped a statement that has raised eyebrows and amused people. When asked about his “personal persons” (romantic partners), the singer said:
“There are some men that women keep in the house; I’m not that kind of man. I am an explorer; I belong to everybody. I belong to the whole wide world.”
He went on to describe himself as undomesticated and impossible to cage. The clip quickly went viral with thousands of reactions.

Critics are particularly against this confession because of Flavour’s long-standing relationship with Sandra Uche Okagbue, a former beauty queen and mother of two of his children. Sandra has consistently presented herself publicly as Flavour’s wife. She always refers to him as her husband, attends family events with him, and shares posts that strongly suggest a marital relationship between them.
Flavour has never publicly said Sandra is his wife. In 2015, when marriage rumours surfaced, his team and the singer himself pushed back. Flavour tweeted that he was still single.
“Music & ME for now. I’m still single. Wouldn’t get married without sharing the news with my fans! HML”
Not so long ago, in June 2024, while Sandra posted family moments and mourned his father as a “daughter-in-law”, Flavour maintained and has continued to maintain a careful distance with public declarations.
While Sandra continues with the public narrative of marriage, Flavour’s words recent words suggest he has no intention of being “kept in the house”.
Flavour’s Baby Mamas
Flavour is known to have two main baby mamas, including:
Sandra Okagbue

Okagbue is Flavour’s first and longest public partner. They began dating around 2013/2014. She is the mother of his first daughter, Gabrielle Munachimso Okoli (born 2014), as well as Flavour’s third child, Chikaima Okoli. Sandra has always been vocal and active in positioning their relationship as marital
Anna Banner

Anna Banner is also a former Miss Nigeria runner-up. She and Flavour had a relationship starting around 2014, which resulted in their daughter, Sofia, while he was with Okagbue. Anna has generally maintained a lower profile compared to Sandra.
Flavour has never hidden his love for women. Even his music, persona, and public statements often celebrate a free-spirited, larger-than-life image. The recent live session only reinforces that Flavour sees himself as belonging to the world, not confined to one home or one woman.
