Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has announced that she is expecting her first child at 35. She shared an emotional pregnancy reveal that has filled the internet with joy.
The actress shared a video on Instagram showing herself in a flowing white gown while proudly cradling her baby bump.
Ini married Abasi Ene-Obong, a longtime admirer of the actress, in May 2022. Their wedding featured a traditional ceremony that honoured both Edo and Efik cultures, followed by a white wedding celebration. 
Fans felt especially moved by the pregnancy announcement because Ini has openly documented her struggle with fibroids over the years.
On July 17, 2024, she revealed that fibroids had returned after she underwent a myomectomy in 2020. She described the experience as heartbreaking while updating fans and loved ones about the challenges she faced and her hopes for the future.
“I want to share something important with you today. If you’ve been following me, you probably know that before the end of 2020, I had a myomectomy, which is an invasive surgery to remove fibroids. The surgery was successful, my doctor removed every single fibroid and I healed well. It has been three years since the surgery and unfortunately, the fibroids are back,” she wrote.
Ini has shared her gratitude, describing this season as a divine blessing unfolding at the perfect time.
She said she feels deeply grateful and full of joy as she embraces motherhood for the first time, calling it a miracle, a privilege and a calling.

Ini also opened up about the emotional and physical changes that have come with pregnancy, saying she feels honoured to receive the gift of motherhood.
“There are moments when words feel too small for what God has done. This is one of those moments. In quiet ways, in unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell. A story of grace. Of love. Of perfect timing,” she wrote.
“God has been so kind. So faithful. So intentional. And now, my heart is holding a love I have never known before. I get to be a mother. What a miracle. What a privilege. What a calling.”
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” Jeremiah 1:5, she added
“Every day, I am in awe. Every day, I whisper thank you. My body is changing, my heart is expanding, and my life will never be the same again. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank You Jesus, for trusting me with this gift.”
