Ubi Franklin, Chioma’s manager, recently gave a public warning to online bullies. He warned that Davido and his wife, Chioma Adeleke (Chef Chi), may take legal action against online bullies. He claims there’s been coordinated cyberbullying that has gone beyond random criticism.
On his post shared on X, some people allegedly created group chats named “TSM Lovers” and “Sophia Lovers”, which he linked to fans and lovers of Sophia Momodu, David’s baby mama. He said the online communities were created to specifically target Chioma by harassing her. He even referenced seeing disturbing messages from these groups.
Fueling the Davido and Chioma cyberbullying lawsuit conversation, Ubi Franklin shared alleged screenshots from group chats. 
All the chats were in favour of Sophia Momodu and Imade. One chat read, “Thank you so much. Chioma is after David’s wealth and fame and uses charm to control him, because I see David doesn’t love her so much too. She has a mission and that is why she is so much concerned about marriage instead building a well grounded career. Once she gets married to him, she will charm David to control him.”

“Nah she send them work.. she will pretend like she didn’t.. throw a party and act surprised.. Green snake in a green grass.. u claim to be in love but why is the love existing only when David says so? One sided filmed love for internet validation now ify is gone.. busy filming and posting on IG and different blogs and forgot to love her child… u left ify with who? Maid looking like she just finished secondary school.. with all the money he claims to have, see the nanny ify. 2 fools,” another chat read.
He warned that those involved will “explain to law enforcement” what they’ve been doing. He made it clear the family is ready to pursue the matter legally and follow due process. Ubi Franklin insists that it isn’t about normal celebrity criticism; he frames it as targeted harassment and cyberbullying.
There have since been online reactions to the Davido and Chioma cyberbullying lawsuit. Some are defending free speech, and others are calling for accountability.
Chioma has long been a target of online scrutiny. For many years, she has been tied to fan wars and Davido’s past controversies. There have also been hate comments about her lifestyle and public image.
