The next stop for the tour of Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido is London, United Kingdom, and it’s not just a concert; it’s a festival. He will be headlining, but it won’t just be about him—there will be other musical artists.
The “Davido & Friends Festival” will take place on August 14, 2026, at London’s historic Crystal Palace Bowl. The open-air venue holds about 15,000 people and has hosted many legendary acts since the 1970s.
In a video posted on all his social media, the 33-year-old singer said, “Yo my people of London, it’s your boy Davido. I know you guys have been feeling left out, but guess what? For the first time, I present to you, Davido & Friends Festival. It will be my only outdoor show in London this summer… We are taking over the Crystal Palace Bowl. Get your friends down, as I will be doing the same.”

The announcement has generated a lot of excitement, as it is a big moment for the Afrobeats genre in the UK. Organizers revealed that pre-sale tickets will be available on March 26, 2026, at 10 a.m. GMT, followed by general sales the next day.
Davido had an amazing 2025, with his Grammy-nominated 2025 album 5ive and the single “With You,” alongside his ongoing 5ive Alive European tour and a scheduled appearance at Coachella 2026, which reinforces his global influence.
Davido & Friends will perform at Palace Bowl Presents this summer, joining a lineup that includes Bastille x The Wombats, Grace Jones, Gary Numan, Tom Jones, and Masayoshi Takanaka, along with a ‘Gospel Garden’ day featuring Kirk Franklin and others.
