Reports about Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee have changed significantly since claims of his alleged arrest in the United Kingdom first surfaced online.
The story initially spread across social media and entertainment platforms. At the time, reports claimed that Poco Lee had been arrested in the UK over an alleged rape case.
However, no police statement or court record had been publicly identified to support the claim. That position has now changed.
Snaresbrook Crown Court in London has confirmed that Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, has a case listed before the court. The court told TheCable Lifestyle that he will appear on September 15, 2026, for plea and trial preparation.
What Social Media First Claimed
The first reports emerged online around August 19. A post on X, formerly known as Twitter, claimed that Poco Lee had been arrested.
Several Nigerian media outlets later reported that he had allegedly been arrested in the UK over a sexual offence. At that stage, however, important details remained unavailable.
No complainant had been publicly identified. Reports also lacked details about the alleged offences and their circumstances. More importantly, no official UK police or court statement had confirmed the reported arrest.
A separate allegation later entered the conversation.
US-based Nigerian rapper Ms Jorji accused Poco Lee of attempting to sexually assault her and her girlfriend. In a video shared online, she described an alleged encounter involving Poco Lee and her girlfriend. She said they visited him while she sought advice about her music career.
However, her allegation remains separate from the case before the UK court. Other social media posts also mentioned alleged drink-spiking and attempted rape.
Meanwhile, some Poco Lee supporters defended his character and urged people not to reach conclusions prematurely.

What the Court Has Confirmed
The court’s confirmation provides the clearest official development so far. Snaresbrook Crown Court confirmed that Poco Lee has a case listed for September 15. The hearing will focus on plea and trial preparation.
The court also confirmed the charges reported by TheCable Lifestyle.
They include:
- Attempted rape
- Two counts of rape
- Two counts of assault by penetration
However, the charges remain allegations. The court has not found Poco Lee guilty of any offence.

What Poco Lee’s Management Says
Poco Lee’s management has also urged the public to allow the legal process to take its course. The team stressed that allegations do not amount to proof of guilt.
It said the case should proceed through the appropriate legal channels before anyone reaches a conclusion. That position is particularly important given the intense online discussion surrounding the case.

What Remains Unproven
Several important details remain outside the public record. The identity of the complainant or complainants has not been publicly disclosed in the reports reviewed.
The full circumstances surrounding the alleged offences also remain unclear. Although the court has confirmed the charges and September hearing, that confirmation does not establish what happened.
The allegations must now go through the UK criminal justice process. Poco Lee remains legally presumed innocent unless and until a court finds him guilty.
For now, the verified position is straightforward. A UK court has confirmed that Poco Lee has a criminal case before it. The listed charges include attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration.
His next listed hearing is scheduled for September 15, 2026.
