Nigerians are very religious. In fact, they are in the top five of the largest Christian populations anywhere in the world, so it’s little surprise that even their celebrities love to go to church and can be very religious.
Among these churches, there are some that have the designation of celebrity churches; you are most likely to see artists, actors, actresses, skit makers and content creators there. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, since church is for everyone.
Here are the Churches Nigerian Celebrities Love To Attend
1. Harvesters, Lekki

A scroll through Harvester’s Instagram page will reveal a plethora of celebrities. Veekee James, Stephanie Linus, Tiwa Savage, Peller, Broda Shaggi, Spyro, Hilda Baci and many more celebrities than those listed here attend the church.
Harvesters, with lead pastor Pastor Bolaji Idowu, was the original celebrity church until the next church on this list took over.
2. Logic Church, Lekki

This church, headed by Apostle Flourish Peters, started out small but soon grew and gained a reputation for its massive celebrity attendance.
Timi Dakolo, Tope Olowoniyan, Brain Jotter, Neo Akpofure, Tubo, Toke Makinwa and many others have been spotted there.

5. Celebration Church (CCI)
They do not publicise it as much as the others; it’s also a celebrity church. This church, with lead pastor Apostle Emmanuel Iren, is not immune to celebrity attendees, from actors to content creators.
Erica Nlewedim,Salem Kinging, Emma Oh My God and actor Ifeanyi Kalu are regular attendees. Ifeanyi is even a pastor in said church.
Since celebrities live in Lekki, Ikeja and Abuja, it’s not out of place for them to attend a church close by.
Additionally, people who love celebrities or are looking for connection, may attend these churches in hope of meeting them one.
On a final note, the church should provide security for these celebrities without granting them preferential treatment, as all are equal before God.
