Isabell Idibia has opened up about her parents’ separation and how it has affected her. The daughter of music legend 2Baba and actress Annie Idibia admitted that the experience has been difficult.
However, she said she is gradually learning to handle the situation better.
Isabell who was on Yanga FM also described her father as gentle and calm. She revealed how his advice has shaped her response to public criticism. 
Isabell Speaks About Her Parents’ Separation
The budding actress and first daughter of Annie acknowledged that her parents’ separation has affected her emotionally. However, she said her ability to cope with the situation has improved.
“Obviously, things are getting better for me, and how I handle it,” she said.
The teenager also revealed that she tries to shield herself from negative comments. According to Isabella, outsiders often discuss family matters without knowing the full story. She therefore chooses not to allow public opinions to influence her.
“It is those of us in the family who know what is really happening,” she said.
For Isabella, protecting her peace has become an important part of navigating her family’s situation.

Isabell Describes 2Baba as Gentle and Calm
While discussing her father, Isabella offered a different perspective from his public image. She described 2Baba as gentle, relaxed and someone who avoids unnecessary reactions.
“You’ll be surprised; he is very gentle, chill, and he teaches me to be the same,” she said.
According to her, the singer has encouraged her to remain calm during difficult conversations. She revealed one particular lesson her father taught her.
“He advised that when people are talking, I should chill and listen,” Isabella explained.
That advice appears to have influenced how she handles criticism and difficult situations. Rather than reacting immediately, she said she tries to listen and remain composed.
Isabell Idibia Reveals Why Some Guys Ask Her Out
Away from her family, Isabella also spoke about an unusual experience involving romantic attention. She claimed that some men approach her because of her relationship with 2Baba.
According to her, they sometimes want her help promoting their music to the Nigerian music icon.
“Some guys will ask me out just because they want me to play their song for my dad or help them get signed by him,” she said.
