Don Jazzy, the 43-year-old Nigerian music executive and founder of Mavin Records, is known for his witty and open responses to fans on his X (formerly Twitter) account. He is so free-spirited and open with his fans that he has revealed his current preferred body type.

When a fan on X told him he likes “big yansh” (buttocks), he tweeted, “Old spec. Na petit dey reign now. Or slim thick sha.”

This may come as a shock to many who assumed Don Jazzy was a lover of large buttocks, but he has seemingly moved on; slim women are his current specification.

If you are interested in Don Jazzy, here are a few things you should know.

Don Jazzy is famously single following his divorce from Michelle Jackson (whom he married in 2003 and divorced two years later). He has publicly admitted that he is currently scared of commitment and does not do well with monogamy.

On Habby Forex‘s YouTube show , he stated, “I just want the right person, but I’m not sure I’m the right person for somebody’s daughter. Am I disciplined enough to be with one person? I’m still working on myself and praying to be better. I was a menace when I was young, but I’m wiser now.”

Shifting Beauty Standards

Don Jazzy’s comment also highlights a possible shift in beauty standards, moving away from the BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) trend. Slim or “slim thick” may be becoming more popular. Since 2016, many women have undergone procedures to reduce their waists and increase their hips and butts.

However, in the international community, some celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian have reportedly reduced the size of their BBLs. But on this side of the Atlantic, African celebrities are not slowing down with the trend as many take to social media to announce their BBLs as if it’s the achievement of a lifetime.
