MultiChoice has announced a new line-up of DStv and GOtv packages in Nigeria, introducing revised subscription options and a dedicated sports package designed to give football fans access to every Premier League and UEFA Champions League match.

According to an official press release, the new DStv and GOtv packages will take effect on November 5, 2026, as the pay-TV operator seeks to simplify its offerings and give subscribers more options based on their entertainment preferences.

Under the new structure, DStv customers can choose from four packages: Starter, Select, Sports and Premium. GOtv subscribers, meanwhile, will have access to Easy, Starter, Select and Sports.

New DStv Packages and Prices in Nigeria

The revised DStv line-up introduces different subscription tiers, with prices and channel offerings varying according to customers’ viewing preferences.

MultiChoice said the changes form part of its effort to make entertainment more accessible while providing clearer choices for customers across Nigeria.

Kemi Omotosho, CEO of MultiChoice Nigeria, said the company had redesigned its packages to reflect changing viewing habits, with options tailored to general entertainment audiences and sports enthusiasts.

DStv Starter – N6,000

The Starter package will cost N6,000 and include two new channels: SuperSport KICKOFF and Africa Magic+.

SuperSport KICKOFF will broadcast the Premier League Match of the Week and selected UEFA Champions League fixtures, while Africa Magic+ will offer local and international series.

DStv Select – N11,000

Priced at N11,000, Select will provide a broader entertainment offering for households. The package includes movie channels, local and international series, selected football and other sports, as well as children’s channels.

DStv Sports – N21,000

The new DStv Sports package is designed specifically for sports fans. At N21,000, subscribers will have access to every Premier League and UEFA Champions League match, alongside WWE and UFC events.

The package will also include all general entertainment channels available on Select, combining sports coverage with films and television programmes.

DStv Premium

Premium will remain the platform’s most comprehensive package. In addition to the Sports package offering, subscribers will have access to Formula 1, MotoGP, Grand Slam tennis, major golf tournaments and international series on M-Net.

MultiChoice also announced changes to its movie offering, introducing M-Net Movies+, M-Net Stars and M-Net Legends to provide more blockbuster titles, quicker access to new releases and fewer repeats.

GOtv Packages Also Getting an Update

GOtv subscribers will also receive a revised package line-up from November 5, 2026, with options covering Easy, Starter, Select and Sports.

According to MultiChoice, the updated packages are intended to simplify choices and improve access to entertainment suited to local audiences.

However, the press release did not specify the prices or detailed channel lists for the new GOtv tiers. Subscribers will need to consult the company’s official channels for the full package details and information about migration to the new structure.

MultiChoice Announces N15,000 Decoder Promotion

Alongside the new DStv and GOtv packages, MultiChoice said its hardware promotion was still available to new customers. Under the offer, customers can purchase a decoder, full kit and one-month entry-level subscription for N15,000.

The company also said customers can download the DStv Stream app and subscribe to the standalone streaming service from N6,000.

The promotion is intended to lower the initial cost of accessing the company’s entertainment services.

With the November 5 launch date approaching, the new DStv and GOtv packages will introduce a revised subscription structure for Nigerian viewers, particularly football fans looking for a dedicated option covering the biggest domestic and European competitions.
