Prophetess Naomi Silekunola Ogunwusi, the former Queen of Ile-Ife and ex-wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has completed her university education at Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, more than 10 years after she last sat for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination. She is set to graduate on November 13.

In a recent reflective Instagram reel, the evangelist and philanthropist shared the story of her academic journey. According to her, she drove between 35 and 40 minutes to campus and the same distance back home for four years without a single accident.

“Truly, the Lord walked with me,” she wrote.

After returning to write JAMB, she resumed lectures at Elizade University. Balancing studies with motherhood, new friendships, and campus life, she eventually defended her final-year project and signed out.

The 33-year-old first left formal education years earlier after gaining admission to Adekunle Ajasin University. She dropped out in her first year to answer a call into full-time ministry, founding En-Herald Ministries in Akure at the age of 18.

She later married the Ooni of Ife in 2018 and became Olori. In December 2021, she publicly announced that she would no longer be addressed as the wife of the Ooni of Ife or Queen of Ile-Ife. She chose instead to focus on her role as a mother to their son, Prince Tadenikawo, and her work as a prophetess and philanthropist.

She described her return to school as more than the pursuit of a degree.

“This is a testimony of God’s faithfulness, a story of resilience, determination, and the courage to begin again,” she said.
