Nigerian gospel singer Toluwanisings has been rumoured dead after reportedly slumping on the morning of Wednesday, October 14, 2026. But sources close to the singer say he is still receiving treatment in the hospital.
The reports of Toluwanisings’ alleged death have circulated across social media and various news platforms, sparking concern among fans and members of the gospel music community.

Woli Agba Urges Calm Amid Toluwanisings’ Death Rumours
Fellow gospel singer Woli Agba has also reacted to the growing concern. He took to his Instagram handle to urge people to remain calm and avoid jumping to conclusions.
In his post, Woli Agba encouraged people to trust God rather than accept unconfirmed reports surrounding Toluwanisings’ condition.
Meanwhile, lawyer Pelumi Olajengbesi, whose post was cited by a media platforms in its report, also shared a mournful message on Instagram. However, his post did not explicitly confirm that the gospel singer had died.
NBG Africa spoke with a close friend to Toluwanisings who maintained that he remains in the hospital after reportedly slumping earlier in the day. She urged all to pray for the singer.

The singer recently celebrated his daughter’s second birthday on October 8.
