Veteran Nollywood actor Peter Fatomilola says content creator Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, paid him ₦1 million for a single scene in a film featuring Pete Edochie.
Fatomilola shared the account in an interview with African A-List. An excerpt from the interview circulated online after Africa A-List posted it on Friday.
The actor said he first met Mr Macaroni at a film location in Fiditi, Oyo State. He had completed two scenes and received ₦50,000 from the production that engaged him, according to his account. 
Fatomilola said Mr Macaroni accompanied him to his car and gave him ₦200,000 for fuel.
He contrasted the gesture with the ₦50,000 he received from the production.
“It was not once or twice. I cannot count it,” he said.
Fatomilola said Mr Macaroni later invited him to work on another production in Lekki, Lagos.
The actor said he did not negotiate a fee before filming the scene. He worked alongside Pete Edochie for just a scene and left the location after the shoot.
While still in Lekki, Fatomilola said he asked how much Mr Macaroni had sent him. He then discovered that the content creator had transferred ₦1 million.
Mr Macaroni is a comedian, actor and content creator. Fatomilola’s account concerns payments connected to two separate film-set encounters.
Fatomilola has worked in Nigerian theatre, television and film for decades. His credits include Sango, Saworoide, Super Story and Papa Ajasco. The actor began his professional theatre career with the Olokun Theatre Group, led by the late Professor Ola Rotimi.
