The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has appointed several prominent Nollywood stars and music artists to its campaign council ahead of the 2027 elections.
The list, released on Thursday, September 17, by the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Centre, places major Nollywood and Fuji music figures in the Entertainment and Creative Economy Directorate.
Nollywood Actors on the APC Campaign Council List
Veteran actor Jide Kosoko will serve as co-director of the directorate, while popular actress Eniola Badmus has been named deputy director. Toke Benson-Awoyinka heads the unit as director.

Singers on the APC Campaign Council List
The music industry is also strongly represented.
Names on the list include:
- Wasiu Alabi Pasuma
- Abass Akande Obesere
- Adewale Ayuba
- Malaika
- Osupa
- Small Doctor
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu chairs the overall Lagos State Campaign Council, while his deputy, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, serves as Deputy Chairman.
The campaign council is scheduled for inauguration on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the APC Secretariat on ACME Road, Ikeja.
High-profile entertainers being included in the campaign process reflects the party’s strategy to leverage the influence of the creative industry in mobilising support across Lagos.
Many of the celebrities on the list influence a large number of people, commanding large followings. They have also previously shown interest in political engagement and in support of the party.
These Nollywood stars and Fuji icons on Lagos APC campaign council list are expected to play a visible role in grassroots mobilisation and public messaging.
