What began as a highly anticipated boxing rematch between Portable and Charles Okocha ended in chaos after Portable walked out of the ring and lost by disqualification.
The fight, tagged “Unfinished Business,” ended in the first round after Portable walked out of the ring. The referee then declared Okocha the winner.
The bout took place at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, in the early hours of Saturday.
Portable and Okocha first faced each other in 2023. Portable won that fight, but Okocha insisted the decision was unfair.

Portable started the rematch strongly and appeared to be in control. However, the contest took a dramatic turn after he brought Okocha down with a leg takedown, turning the boxing match into a wrestling-style clash.
Both fighters grappled on the canvas, forcing officials and security personnel to intervene and separate them. Shortly after the officials restored order, Portable left the ring in frustration for reasons that were not clear.
Although Portable was later persuaded to return to the ring, while the officials ruled that he had violated the fight regulations. The referee then disqualified Portable and awarded victory to Okocha.
