For nearly four years, popular content creator Sydney Talker says he made a personal sacrifice that many would find difficult. According to the skit maker, he deliberately stayed away from romantic and emotional distractions, dedicating his time to studying the content creation industry and searching for ways creators can achieve greater financial success.
Talker revealed on Wednesday via an Instagram video that he has been celibate since July 27, 2022, stating that he has not “slept on the same bed with a woman” during that period.
“On the 27th of this month, it will make it four years of celibacy for me. Technically, what I’m trying to say is that I have not slept on the same bed with a woman for the last four years,” he said. 
“It has not been easy, but I thank God. It is not by my power but by His grace.”

The content creator explained that the decision was a strategic one, aimed at eliminating emotional distractions and allowing him to focus on research and industry development.
“I stayed away from emotional activities and took out time to study, and I found solutions that would really help us as content creators,” he said.
Talker further claimed that his extensive study of the industry led him to discover key strategies that could help creators build long-term wealth.
“In this past four years, I have studied my industry, content creation, and I have come to a conclusion that if we do not put some things in place now, we would never get wealthy. So, I took out time to study,” he added.
The skit maker also announced a live event titled “Creators Keynote”, scheduled for July 27, where he intends to share his findings and unveil what he described as something new for the content creation industry.
According to him, the event will be streamed simultaneously on his Twitch and YouTube channels.
