Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro is set to feature in Imported Babu, an upcoming vertical microdrama series scheduled for release on July 2.

The project marks another collaboration between the Nigerian and Indian film industries.

It also continues Osas’ growing involvement in international productions.

Imported Babu was created by Indian-Nigerian filmmaker Hamisha Daryani Ahuja and produced under her company, Forever 7 Entertainment.

Ahuja is known for cross-cultural projects that connect audiences in both countries.

She previously created Namaste Wahala, the Netflix film that brought together actors from Nigeria and India.

The new series features Osas alongside Bollywood actor Rajniesh Duggall and other performers from both industries.

The project continues a pattern that has become closely associated with Ahuja’s productions.

She later became a household name through her role in Tinsel.

Since then, she has appeared in productions such as Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story, Man of God, The Smart Money Woman, King of Boys, and When Love Strikes.

The project also reunites her with Ahuja.

In 2021, Osas appeared in Namaste Wahala, another production created by the filmmaker.

The movie starred Ini Dima-Okojie and Ruslaan Mumtaz in the lead roles.

It later premiered on Netflix and introduced audiences to a story that blended Nigerian and Indian cultures.

Ahuja was born in India and raised in Nigeria.

Over the years, she has built a reputation for creating productions that connect both industries.

Through Forever 7 Entertainment, she continues to develop projects that bring together talent, audiences, and storytelling traditions from both countries.
