An engagement gathering in Liberia turned dramatic after a man who flew in from America to engage his girlfriend, Zoey, showed her family WhatsApp screenshots that he said revealed her affairs with four other men.
The man initially planned to ask Zoey’s family for her hand in marriage, but he said he discovered something that changed the purpose of the gathering.
Zoey’s family members gathered outside under a decorated canopy as the event started peacefully. However, the atmosphere changed when the man brought out his phone and began explaining the chats he said he found on his girlfriend’s WhatsApp. 
Man Accuses Girlfriend of Seeing Four Other Men
US-returnee explained that he found out about his girlfriend’s cheating a day before the engagement party.
“I found out yesterday, Zoey has on her WhatsApp, I told her to open her phone she didn’t open it, she is always talking to 4 different men.”
The man also alleged that some of the four men were married. He specifically accused Zoey of having an affair with a married man who has a child. He said:
“She told me that she doesn’t want to be a side chick but she is messing around with a married man.”
After the man made the revelations, people at the gathering tried to calm him down, asking him to stop reading the chat out. However, he continued to speak about the situation and explained what he said had happened.
The drama continued when some people switched off the microphone he was using to address those at the gathering. Everyone then stood up and tried to speak with the man as they attempted to calm him down and determine whether the matter could receive a resolution.

People React to the Public Confrontation
People who watched the incident on X shared different opinions about the man’s decision to confront Zoey in front of her family.

Some criticised him for publicly humiliating her. They argued that he should have confronted her privately, told her that her actions were unacceptable and end the relationship.
Others supported his decision and argued that people would react differently if a woman exposed a man for cheating.
