Award-winning actress, director, and producer Biodun Stephen has taken to social media to jokingly request that tech giant Samsung gift her their latest flagship device, the Galaxy Z Fold8.
In a lighthearted video, the former radio presenter—now one of Nollywood’s leading female filmmakers—emphasized her long-standing loyalty to the brand. She argued that her dedication makes her a deserving recipient of the newly released model.

Biodun Stephen’s Appeal for the Samsung Z Fold8
Addressing Samsung directly, she said:
“I just want to prove to you that—whether you know it or not—I’ve been a loyal customer and have supported Samsung for a very long time.”
To back up her claim, Stephen showcased her extensive collection of Samsung devices. She showed her Tab S9, Galaxy Flip 5, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S25, and a Samsung smartwatch before officially making her plea for the Galaxy Z Fold8:
“As God is using you to bless people with phones—especially that latest one, the Fold 8. I feel I deserve it, I’m requesting it, and I’m begging for it. Support and encourage me, just as I’ve supported your business. I’m very loyal and haven’t strayed. May God bless you as you favorably consider my request.”
Closing the video, she urged her followers to amplify her appeal in the comment section:
“Help me tag Samsung, everybody! They must give me a phone,” she joked.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is the tech company’s latest book-style foldable phone, featuring a wider, shorter design. Released on August 7, 2026, following its July 22 announcement, the device is now available in retail stores, with prices ranging between ₦2.3 million and ₦3.2 million depending on storage capacity.
