To many, this is the image of a married politician, enjoying luxury travel, and a forbidden intimate moment. Little surprise it was an instant internet obsession. The big question has been: “Who’s Adams Oshiomole’s mystery woman?”
Who is This Oshiomole Mystery Woman?
But beneath the outrage, one recurring question floating through the timelines was: Who is this Oshiomole mystery woman? 
Some assumed she was his wife. Others said she must be a family member. A few suggested it was simply a private moment blown out of proportion. Then came the reveal.
According to SaharaReporters, further checks identified the woman as a South African lifestyle influencer and adult-rated content creator. She reportedly operates the TikTok account @shaandg47 and previously used the Instagram handle @leshaan_dagama. According to the bio on her Instagram page. She describes herself as a “professional sugar baby.”
This video became a symbol of everything Nigerians are already angry about. The privilege of power, silence, and the audacity and tone-deafness of the ruling class in a time of national struggle. Even ‘the mystery woman,’ via her IG story, has come out to say, “Your senator is the problem, go be mad at him. Not me.”
The Timing Couldn’t Be Worse
The timing only made it worse. Barely days earlier, Oshiomhole had publicly urged Nigerians to “endure” economic hardship under the Tinubu administration. He called the pain of reforms “necessary.” For many Nigerians already struggling with inflation, fuel prices, and daily survival, the contrast against this trending video is too much to ignore.
Online critics described the video as another example of political privilege and elite excess. Some saw it as tone-deaf. Others warned against jumping to conclusions based on a short clip. Overall, it was curiosity mixed with anger about wealth excesses and who Oshiomole mystery woman was.

Oshiomole’s media aide has dismissed the viral clip, calling it a poorly crafted AI-generated video. But, the lady has since refuted that via her IG story, saying, “Video wasn’t AI, but okay, believe your senator.”
