Big Brother Naija housemate Cassi was evicted from the show on Sunday, August 23.
NBG Africa spoke with Cassi, asked him about his time in the house and some of the comments fans shared about his time on the show.
NBG Africa read a tweet that said, “Cassi you gave absolutely nothing on the Show.” 
Cassi disagreed with the comment and said anyone who watched the show closely would know that he remained active throughout his time in the house.
He pointed out that other housemates described him as the funniest housemate in the house. According to him, the housemates could not have given him that description if he spent his time sleeping or doing nothing.
Cassi also reated to the comments about him having the greatest alliance in the house. He said he built those relationships because he stayed active and interacted with the other housemates. He said:
“Anytime you see me, I’m literally doing something.” Cassi explained that he barely slept at night and did not even have a bed until he left the house.
He recalled that he spent many nights chatting with Sultex, Nomy, Chimsom and Neche. He also mentioned the night he stayed up chatting while the show aired Yusuf and Bells’ fight.
Cassi said he remained active during the day, especially when the housemates worked on their wager tasks. However, he believes viewers did not see enough of those moments.
Cassi Opens Up About His Friendship With Normy
The Nollywood actor-turned reality star also spoke about his relationship with Nomy. He described her as a great friend with whom he shared a good connection.
Cassi admitted that he felt unhappy when he left the house and said Nomy’s reaction surprised him because she cried after his eviction.
The reality star said he knew Nomy as a soft-hearted person and believed his eviction affected her because they had almost settled their differences before he left.
He revealed that Nomy apologised to him and that he accepted her apology. Although he still had more things to tell her about the situation involving Abi, he said he remained cool with her.
Cassi explained that Nomy might have thought he had not forgiven her, but he did not consider the matter a big issue after she apologised.

Cassi Admits He Has Been Managing His Anger
NBG Africa also read a tweet about Cassi that said, “I’m genuinely scared for the day Cassi will actually get angry, the signs I’m seeing is scary and I pity his opponent that day.”
Cassi admitted that the comment contained some truth.
He explained that he had been working on how he handled his anger. According to him, he often laughed things off because he did not want people to see the other side of him when he became angry.
Why Cassi Stayed Quiet at the Beginning
NBG Africa asked Cassi whether his quiet nature at the beginning of the show reflected his real personality or whether he used that period to find his place in the house.
Cassi explained that he prefers to observe his surroundings before joining conversations. He said he did not want to force conversations or create a personality that did not represent him.
He also said many housemates acted performatively, but he did not like performing or acting for the cameras.
The actor revealed that he found his people later in the competition and became more active around the third week.
He said he remained quiet at the beginning because he saw no reason to speak when he had nothing to say. Instead, he spent that period observing the other housemates and understanding the environment.
Cassi Explains His Relationship With Abi
The ex-housemate also discussed his relationship with Abi and explained that their friendship started because Abi noticed how helpful he was towards her.
He described Abi as one of the most underestimated and misunderstood housemates in the house, alongside Sultex.
Cassi acknowledged that Abi sometimes responds to people aggressively and flares up over issues that do not require such reactions. However, he said he understood her personality and never took her reactions personally.
That understanding, according to Cassi, made Abi feel comfortable around him.

Cassi Says He Played for the Money, Exposure and Experience
When NBG Africa asked Cassi whether he entered the show mainly for the money, exposure or experience, he said he went for all three.
He explained that he wanted the exposure, the money and the experience, while also enjoying the fun and entertainment that came with the show.
Cassi admitted that the money remained the biggest bonus for him, but he described the entire experience as a good one. He added that he did not regret his time on the show.
Cassi Reveals His Plans After the Show
Now that he has left the house, Cassi plans to take his acting career more seriously. He also intends to continue trading and hopes to become one of the best traders in the world.
Cassi revealed that he also wants to explore directing because he enjoys directing. Beyond entertainment and trading, he plans to expand his short-let business.
Cassi said he now looks forward to making more money, exploring new opportunities and pursuing the different goals he has set for himself after the show.
