That’s why we are not surprised that 2025 was the year of the most elaborate celebrity weddings, ranging from musician, Davido and Chioma, to Tanzanian Juma Jux‘s wedding to Nigerian Influencer, Priscilla ‘Priscy’ Ojo, and billionaire’s daughter Temi Otedola getting married to the businessman and artist, Mr Eazi. 3. Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi
This couple chose a very private wedding ceremony and slowly unveiled their wedding pictures. They had their high-profile ceremonies in Monaco, Iceland, and Dubai. 
Temi and Mr Eazi also had a contract with the US publication Vogue Magazine, which gave them the exclusive rights to post their wedding pictures first. The official page of Vogue Weddings garnered an impressive 241,000 likes. For context, an average Vogue wedding post has around 1,000 – 10,000 likes. It was definitely one of their most-liked posts of the year.
Notwithstanding, Temi and Eazi’s wedding also went viral when they decided to post about it on their personal pages. On Temi’s own Instagram page, her wedding posts averaged 600,000 to 200,000 likes with undoubtedly millions of impressions. They also generated a lot of conversation on platforms like Twitter (X) and Instagram with many people commenting on their luxury, wealth and class.
2. Davido and Chioma
In 2024, Davido and Chioma’s traditional wedding was certainly the most viral wedding. Even though it still went viral in 2025, it was not as huge, perhaps because it was a continuation of the 2024 wedding. If you search their wedding hashtag CHIVIDO on Instagram, you will see about 21,900 posts about it.
Davido and Chioma also had an exclusive agreement with Vogue Magazine, and their wedding picture on Vogue’s Instagram page had over 124,000 likes, which is a big deal.
With over 31 million followers on his Instagram, it’s not shocking that Davido’s wedding pictures had over 1.6 million likes and over 61,000 comments.

1. Juma Jux and Priscilla
Juma Jux and Priscilla’s wedding was definitely the most viral wedding of 2025. There are so many reasons for this, but one of them is that the couple invited many media houses and content creators to cover the wedding.
These videos posted by third parties garnered millions of views and attention even before the couple posted anything themselves. For instance, their videographer The Esiaga posted a reel of their wedding that has 1.2 million views.
Also, guests posted so many pictures and videos of themselves. They treated their appearance at the wedding as a moment, and many wedding guests’ pictures went viral.
If you check their wedding hashtag, #JP2025, on Instagram, you will see a whopping 155,000 tags.
On Priscy’s Instagram page, one of her wedding pictures have over 957,000 likes and 22,000 comments. Meanwhile, she did not have the 4.5 million followers she currently has at the time.
This couple used the momentum of their beautiful wedding and became way more famous than they were before the wedding. That’s why when they announced they were expecting a baby, the post had 1.1 million likes.
By the numbers, it is clear the most viral celebrity wedding of 2025 is definitely Juma Jux and Priscilla Ojo.
