Skate City at Purple Maryland Mall is a mainland gem for roller skating, hoverboarding, air hockey, and virtual reality (VR), all in one energetic space. The skating rink runs at ₦7,000 per hour, and hoverboards go for ₦4,000 for ten minutes. 

Instructors and safety gear are on hand, so beginners have no excuse not to try. You will fall. You will laugh. Whether you go back or not will be about your dignity. Who cares about that when you’re having fun?

5. A Time Machine in Agege

Vintage Africana in Agege is the kind of museum that gives you a full sensory throwback. Founded by filmmaker Akin Alabi and his wife Bunmi, the space preserves old-school Nigerian household items: vinyl records, black-and-white televisions, typewriters, rotary phones, and a vintage Volkswagen Beetle parked in the compound. 

Entry is ₦5,000 per person and includes access to picture booths perfect for content. Food is available on-site, with menu items ranging from ₦2,000 to ₦5,000. Reservations are required.
