There comes a point in Ramadan when the focus shifts from what we are giving up to who we are becoming. It is what day 10 reminds us.
It teaches about repairing our relationship with Allah, increasing Sadaqah, controlling our speech, and allowing our fast to refine our character. A call to move beyond physical restraint and become more mindful, more generous, and more devoted in both action and heart.

Ramadan Day 10 Prayer
On Day 10 of Ramadan, we are reminded to guard our speech, and allow our fasting to refine our character.
Prayer:
O Allah, as I reach the tenth day of Ramadan, draw me closer to You and mend any distance between my heart and Your guidance. Let my fasting go beyond hunger and thirst, and purify my character in ways that please You. Help me to guard my tongue from harmful speech, gossip, and anger, and replace my words with kindness and truth.Increase me in generosity, O Allah, and make me sincere in my Sadaqah, whether given openly or in secret. Soften my heart, refine my manners, and make this fast a means of improving my actions and intentions. Accept my worship, forgive my shortcomings, and allow these days of Ramadan to transform me into a better servant of Yours. Ameen.
Ramadan Day 10 Dua of the Day
“ya rabi, ajealni ‘adkhul min madkhal hasanin, wajealni ‘akhraj min makhraj hasanin, wamnahni min eindik sultat sindu”.
Translation: O Lord, cause me to enter a goodly entrance and cause me to exit a goodly exit, and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority.
What it teaches:
This du’a teaches us to seek Allah’s guidance and support in every transition of life. Asking Him to bless our beginnings, our endings, and to grant us strength and authority to remain steadfast and successful in all we do.

Ramadan Day 10 Hadith of the Day
Like the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“O Messenger of Allah, what do you think if I testify there is no God but Allah and you are the Messenger of Allah, I perform the five prayers, I pay the obligatory alms, I fast the month of Ramadan, and stand for prayer in it. Among whom will I be?’ The Prophet said, ‘Among the truthful and the martyrs”. — Sahih al-Bukhari.
This hadith teaches that Day 10 marks the transition from the first ten days of mercy into the middle ten days of forgiveness. It is a time to solidify habits of charity and prayer.
