You thought the beef between actresses Lizzy Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo had cooled off, but it’s back with a boxing twist. Lizzy Anjorin recently accepted Paulo Okoye’s celebrity boxing challenge, putting a ₦10 million prize on the line.
In an Instagram post on May 3, 2026, Lizzy declared she’s ready to take the challenge to step into the ring. However, she added her own interesting conditions. She suggests that Paulo should first face her husband in a 10-round match before she takes on Iyabo the next day.
“As at today, 3rd May 2026, I accept your challenge,” she wrote. 
She added, “You and Chief Lawal will fight 10 rounds non-stop in the ring. Then the next day, it will be me and Iyabo Ojo in the ring.”

She raised the stake, literally. This feud has been brewing for years with social media clapbacks, and now it might literally turn physical.
Paulo Okoye, who is in a relationship with Iyabo Ojo, proposed the boxing match. The match, often called a “winner takes all” fight with a ₦10 million prize, is aimed at ending the public feud between the two actresses.
The feud, which has included legal battles and social media disputes, has lasted for years. Things got more serious in 2025 when Iyabo Ojo sued Lizzy Anjorin for ₦1 billion over claims she said damaged her reputation. Even though the case was later dismissed because of a legal mistake, Iyabo said she still plans to take further legal action.
The women are now expected to throw punches in a controlled ring with doctors present to settle scores.
Paul Okoye first suggested the boxing match in 2024 and promised a ₦10 million prize for whoever won.
This anticipated boxing match comes after Zazoo crooner Portable lost to streamer Cater Efe at a similar celebrity fight on May 1.
