Jim Iyke, a veteran Nollywood actor, has made it known which role he would never act in a movie. In an Interview with Pulse, the actor spoke about the type of character he would not act in a film.
The former Nollywood lover boy answered directly. He said he would not portray a gay character.
“I can’t act a gay role,” he stated.
He also said he would not wear a skirt for any film role.
“I can’t wear a skirt for nobody,” he mentioned.
Iyke then shared a humorous story about a producer who once sent him a script that required him to wear a skirt.

The actor said he located the producer, chased him with a machete and told him to keep running.
“The last producer that sent me a script that asked me to wear a skirt for a movie, I located him, chased him with a machete and told him to keep running,” Jim Iyke said.

Iyke has played different characters throughout his acting career, he said some roles remain off-limits to him.
He recalled his encounter with the producer in humorous way. Jim Iyke used the story to explain how strongly he felt about wearing a skirt for a movie rather than simply rejecting the script.

The actor has enjoyed a long career in Nollywood and has appeared in several films over the years. He has played different roles and worked with several producers and actors in the Nigerian film industry.
However, the actor has made his position clear on the roles he does not want to play.
For Jim Iyke, portraying a gay character or wearing a skirt for a movie is not something he wants to do.
