Bella and Sheggz’s legal battle has escalated into a full-blown confrontation between their legal teams.
Bella’s legal team issued a response on August 24, rejecting a cease-and-desist notice and claims filed by Sheggz’s legal team.
The letter describes Sheggz’s allegations as “spurious and baseless.” It further listed five points of “proper guidance” with standout claims. It noted that Bella will not retract any statements, issue an apology, or comply with their demands to stop talking. 
The legal team also added a reminder that Bella “remains a law-abiding citizen and aware of her rights and boundaries.” They said that Sheggz’s personal safety is not her responsibility.
Bella’s lawyer’s letter ended with a stern warning under the heading “CYBERSTALKING”:
“It is pertinent to issue a stern note of warning to the supposed Lawyer in your firm, particularly operating with Phone No.[censored], who inundate our client with unsolicited messages, phone calls and video calls at odd hours to kindly desist from these despicable acts; we consider this act unethical and low bearing of a Legal Practitioner. FOREWARNED IS FOREARMED.”
The latest development in the Bella and Sheggz legal battle follows a cease-and-desist notice issued by Sheggz’s legal team.

How It Got To This
Sheggz’s legal team had sent a cease-and-desist notice to Bella, accusing her of defaming him with certain statements she made on social media.
In Bella’s defence, her lawyers insist that her comments were only expressions of her genuine emotions following the end of their relationship and can not be called defamation.
They countered that she made no false statements capable of harming Sheggz’s reputation.
Bella’s legal team also alleges that the relationship itself had a “breach of promise to marry and misrepresentation of intentions that amounts to deceit.”
Her lawyers also claim Sheggz obtained several loans from Bella pretentiously. They said they are ready to pursue the matter in court with evidence to support their claim.
In addition, a member of Sheggz’s legal team was accused of bombarding Bella with unsolicited messages, phone calls, and video calls at odd hours.
