1. South Africa
South Africa is mostly known for its warm and temperate climate, but some regions see snow during the winter months of June to August.
Areas such as Gauteng, parts of Johannesburg, the Drakensberg Mountains, and sections of the Western Cape are known for occasional snowfall.
2. Morocco
In Morocco, particularly the High Atlas and Middle Atlas ranges, they regularly experience snowfall from December to February.
The town of Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland,” also becomes a picturesque winter destination at this time, drawing tourists eager to see its streets blanketed in snow.
3. Lesotho
Lesotho sits over 1,000 metres above sea level, making it particularly prone to snow.
