TikTok for Business just celebrated a one-year milestone in Kenya. And honestly, it’s been a big year.

TikTok for Business is a part of TikTok that has served as a form of toolkit for Kenyan businesses to reach their target audience by posting and using video trends. This helps business owners advertise their products while also connecting with people.
What’s Going On With Kenya’s TikTok?
Since its launch in 2025, TikTok has teamed up with some local partners to make sure things run smoothly in Kenya.
To ensure this, Aleph Holdings Company helped set up TikTok’s sales and operations locally, while Wowzi, another company, took care of managing creators. These are the people in charge of making and managing the release of TikTok videos in Kenya.
These partnerships are important because they help Kenyan businesses access professional advice and smart solutions to any problem, as well as an opportunity for talented creators to make videos that actually get noticed, and these efforts have paid off.
While speaking on the growth, Jochen Bischoff, head of global business solutions Africa at TikTok, said;
“In just one year, we’ve seen Kenyan businesses unlock the true power of creativity and performance on TikTok. From fintech to consumer, e-commerce, and telco, many industries are increasingly embracing TikTok’s full-funnel solutions to scale their growth and connect authentically with audiences. These early achievements are only the beginning. We anticipate even more innovation, greater adoption, and a stronger commercial impact in the year ahead. ”
Over the past year, more than 200 Kenyan creators earned over USD 350,000, which is more than KSh 47 million, by collaborating with local businesses. A feat many creators never dreamt of.

Additionally, Kenya didn’t just do well commercially. It also got noticed regionally. At the TikTok Ad Awards for the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Pakistan (METAP), the SKYTok community campaign by SKY Girls Kenya took home a Bronze in the Community Core category, which celebrates creator-led projects.
“Talented creators have become one of the strongest drivers of brand growth on TikTok in Kenya. This impact is made possible by their outstanding creativity, authenticity, and entrepreneurial spirit,” said Mike Otieno, co-founder & president of Wowzi.
As TikTok for Business keeps growing in Kenya, the focus is on helping brands, agencies, and creators get even better at making videos that people love and making real impact while doing it.
