While some couples manage to weather the storm and stay together, others don’t survive it, especially when infidelity enters the picture. 
In these cases, the infidelity either led to divorce, separation, proving that women don’t have to stay with a cheating husband despite societal obligations and expectations.
This list focuses on cases where these celebrities’ ex-husbands’ infidelity was openly admitted, confirmed by the parties involved, or clearly attributed as the reason the marriage broke down.
1. Toke Makinwa
Toke Makinwa got married to Maje Ayida, whom she dated for eight years, in January 2014. However, in 2015, the couple separated after she found out he had got his ex-girlfriend pregnant for him. It wasn’t until October 2017 that the union got officially dissolved by the Lagos High Court on grounds of adultery.
2. Toyin Abraham
Let’s talk about Toyin Abraham and her first marriage to actor Adeniyi Johnson. They got married in 2013; not too long after, things started falling apart. According to Toyin, infidelity was a major issue in the marriage.
While Adeniyi denied some of the cheating allegations and said the situation wasn’t as straightforward as it seemed online, Toyin’s stance remained clear that betrayal played a huge role in why the marriage ended. By 2015, they officially separated.

3. Annie Idibia
With Annie Idibia and 2Face, infidelity was one of those issues that never really went away in their marriage. Over the years, there were rumours of cheating, especially with past partners, but things really came to a head in 2021 when Annie publicly accused him of being unfaithful and said he was still involved with his baby mama, Pero Adeniyi.
It was messy and very public, and many people noticed that it took a serious emotional toll on her. Even though they tried to move past it, the accusations and trust issues kept following the marriage.
By early 2025, 2Face eventually confirmed that they had been separated for a while and were heading for divorce. He prompted married another women, Hon Natasha Osawuru. For many people, it didn’t really come as a shock.

4. Tonto Dikeh
Tonto Dikeh’s marriage to Olakunle Churchill ended in 2017, and infidelity was one of the issues that came up when everything fell apart.
Tonto accused him of cheating and made it clear that the marriage wasn’t what she thought it was. While there were other serious problems involved, cheating was part of what pushed the relationship to its breaking point.
Some reasons for divorce among celebrities are very public, like infidelity, and others are really private. While we have looked at cases where husbands cheated, it’s important to remember that every marriage has its story, and only the people in it truly know what went on.
5. Nabila Fash
Although, she’s not an actress, Nabila Fash deserves to be on this list. This PR executive accused singer Oritsefemi of being a chronic cheater, which led to the dissolution of their marriage.
The tipping point for her was when she famously disclosed that he caught him with a woman on their matrimonial bed while he believed she was away at work. He also impregnated several women during the course of their the marriage which lasted for only 5 years.
