  • Claimed Okafor possessed and shared her private videos, including one related to a pregnancy loss.
  • Accused him of misrepresenting her miscarriage publicly.

“After all the sex?…Tell me, who do you want to leave me for?…You took away the only brother that I live with. You took him away. I can’t prove it’s a ritual. But you know the truth. After destroying my life like this, and you want to marry? No, you will not. No, you will kill me that day.”

Doris Ogala also released screenshots of alleged WhatsApp conversations between herself and Pastor Chris Okafor, reportedly exchanged in 2022 and 2025.

She vowed to disrupt Mr Okafor’s church wedding, alleging that the clergyman had broken her heart and ruined her life.

During his Sunday sermon, Okafor did not explicitly mention Doris Igala but only stated that men are unlikely to marry women who are arrogant or come from families with poor reputations. He emphasised that a woman should cultivate qualities of respect, humility, and submissiveness before seeking marriage.

Okafor criticised women who are disrespectful to elders or boast about their independence, saying such behaviour diminishes their suitability as a wife.

He stressed that marriage is not about simply finding a partner, but finding a woman who demonstrates readiness to fulfill the responsibilities of a wife. Quoting the Bible, he said:

“He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord.”

He concluded that women should develop the qualities of a good wife first, so that a suitable husband will come to them.

Pastor Chris Okafor was previously married to Bessem Okafor, who in 2014 accused him of physically assaulting her during a visit to see their four children in Magodo, Lagos. Bessem had left the marital home in 2012 and Okafor had not remarried since their divorce, explaining he did not want to marry someone who could later threaten his children or disrupt their lives.

He emphasised that entering a new marriage could expose his family to unnecessary risk and noted that no one in his family had ever married twice, suggesting he wished to maintain that pattern…until now.

In 2019, celebrity photographer Busola Dakolo publicly accused Fatoyinbo of raping her as a teenager. The allegations led to nationwide protests, media scrutiny, and court proceedings, though Fatoyinbo has consistently denied wrongdoing.
