Nigerian singer Oluwatobiloba Daniel, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has revealed why he delayed releasing new music this year.
The award-winning artiste disclosed that he stepped away from music to mourn the loss of his mother. He made the revelation on Friday, 25 September, while responding to a fan who questioned his absence from the music scene.
Kizz Daniel Explains His Music Break
An X user suggested that work on a new album had kept the singer away from the spotlight. 
“I guess album really made you busy. You had to pause for a while,” the fan wrote.
However, Kizz Daniel clarified that grief, not music, caused his break.
“I paused for my mum, not an album. Lost her this year, but I gotta keep moving for the rest of the family. Sorry, I came late this year,” he replied.
