As Nigerians were still asleep, having a peaceful rest, Frank Edoho’s ex-wife, who couldn’t sleep, went to her Instagram story and began ranting, accusing Frank of domestic violence, showing pictures of bruises and injuries to back it up.
The first post dropped at an hour when only the brokenhearted and the vengeful are awake. By morning, the internet was on fire.
Sandra Edoho, the estranged wife of the veteran “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” host, didn’t come to play. She came with receipts.

What She Said
In a lengthy Instagram statement titled “Surviving Frank Edoho”, Sandra detailed years of what she described as physical abuse, emotional torment, infidelity, and financial exploitation.
Here is the part that made people gasp.
She claimed Frank once held a dumbbell over her and threatened to destroy her face, saying, “I will destroy your face so no man can ever see your beauty again.”
On another occasion, she said he threatened to kill her at night. That was her cue. She left and never looked back.
Even his own sister, Eno Edoho, allegedly admitted she “could never get married to a man like her brother” and was shocked that Sandra covered up for him all those years.

Sandra also posted photos of injuries she claims resulted from domestic violence incidents during their marriage.
The Cheating Allegations

Beyond the physical abuse, Sandra painted a picture of a man who was never faithful.
She claimed she secretly had access to his account passwords for over three months. What did she find? Bank statements showing spending at hotels, lounges, and bars with various women.
She named names, alleging affairs with actress Mbong Amata, BBNaija’s Tega Dominic, and a woman named Amaka Okeke, whom she claimed Frank brought into their home to sleep on their matrimonial bed.
She also alleged he pressured her to abort their second child because he was “in numerous relationships and not ready to be a father”.
A deadbeat? “That is exactly what you are,” she wrote. “I single-handedly sponsored your lavish lifestyle.”
Frank’s Side (So Far)
Frank Edoho has not publicly responded to these latest allegations. But he has been speaking indirectly about Sandra.
In a recent podcast interview on Outside The Box, he revealed a deep fear: dying from heartbreak caused by a woman.
“I don’t want to go to the gates of heaven, and they ask me what killed me, and they say it’s a woman. Whether that woman be my daughter, my wife, or my mother, I don’t want that,” he said.
He also admitted to going through a “very dark place” for two years without sharing his struggles with anyone.
It was quite noticeable that he did not address the domestic violence allegations. He spoke broadly about male emotional struggles and the pressure men face to hide their pain.
The Pattern
Here’s what makes this story even more troubling:

Frank Edoho was previously married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang. That marriage ended in 2010 after seven years. The reason? Katherine cited domestic violence.
Two marriages. Two women. Same allegation.
Either Frank is the unluckiest man alive, or there is a pattern that cannot be ignored.
The Other Side of the Coin
To be fair, Frank has previously denied domestic violence allegations tied to his first marriage. And Sandra’s timing has raised questions for some.
Her accusations come weeks after leaked audio recordings surfaced, linking her romantically to singer Chike. Frank had previously alleged that Sandra was unfaithful during their marriage.
Some Nigerians have asked, ‘Is this damage control?’ A counter-attack? Or a woman finally speaking her truth after years of silence?
Sandra’s response: She said she remained silent for too long because she was protecting her children and her marriage. But when Frank allegedly threatened to kill her, silence was no longer an option.
What Happens Now?
Frank has not responded to the dumbbell allegation. He has not responded to the death threat allegation. His legal team has not issued a statement.
Meanwhile, Amaka Okeke, one of the women Sandra named, has already denied any affair and threatened legal action.

Sandra, for her part, says she has video evidence and recordings from different moments in the relationship. If true, that evidence could change everything.

The Bottom Line
Is Frank Edoho a woman-beater?
Sandra says yes. She has shown pictures. She has named witnesses. She has provided a timeline.
Frank says nothing, at least not directly. He speaks about heartbreak and male vulnerability, but he does not say, “I never hit her.”
Two wives have now accused him of domestic violence. The first one said it years ago. The second one is saying it now.
Until Frank looks at a camera and denies it directly, until he explains the dumbbell, explains the death threat, and explains why two women have told the same story, the question will hang in the air.
Nigerians will have to decide: Do we believe the man we love? Or do we believe the women who lived with him?
