Old things have passed away, and all has become new, and we can see that in the life of Tonto Dikeh.

In 2026, Tonto Dikeh has rebranded herself from the woman who was befriended by and fought with cross-dresser Bobrisky, a woman who constantly had ‘beefs’ with many others and loved to party, drink, and smoke, into a new woman. Or should we say “new creature”, as the Bible says:

The following changes have been reported in 2026:

1. Name Change

On March 1, 2026, she officially dropped the name “King Tonto”. She said that this decision was in alignment with the will of God upon her life and in “obedience to the Holy Spirit” and requested to be addressed as “Woman of God”, “Evangelist Tonto”, “Aunty Tonto”, or simply “Big T”.

2. Religious Commitment

Additionally, During their recent NSPPD programme on February 6, 2026, Tonto shared a clip of herself cleaning the chairs before the event.

3. Reconciliation

In a surprising move, Tonto revealed that she has forgiven her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, ending a long-standing public feud, thanks to the guidance from her pastor.

She spoke so highly of him and made sure her son was reconnected with his father during his 10th birthday celebrations. You will recall that in the past, she dressed up as a man for Father’s Day, saying she is both his father and mother.

4. Evangelism and Prayers

Tonto frequently records herself praying in tongues and worshipping online, as well as teaching and giving biblical advice. She even went to primary health facilities where she prayed for the sick. In her own words, she has turned “From a mess to a message.”

5. New Boundaries

For 2026, she issued a “Public Service Announcement” stating she will be highly intentional about her associations. She has declared a no-tolerance policy for brands or people who are disrespectful toward her person, her faith, or her pastor, Jerry Eze.

Is It a True Conversion?

During her 40th birthday, she spoke about a shift toward “peace over disgrace”. Tonto no longer wishes to engage in public controversies and is focused on leaving a positive legacy for her son.

The truth is the Bible speaks about people transforming and becoming new, and that could entirely be the case with Tonto. However, the scepticism online comes from her constantly recording herself, which could also be seen as a form of evangelism
